Data we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, phone number, email address;
- Trip details: pick-up and drop-off addresses, date, time, flight number, number of passengers and pieces of luggage;
- Payment: amount, method and status of payment. Card details are processed directly by our payment provider SumUp and are not stored by Booking Taxi Belgium;
- Technical data needed to run the website (IP address, server logs).
Purposes and legal basis
- Managing and carrying out your booking (performance of a contract);
- Contacting you about your trip, for example if your flight is delayed (performance of a contract);
- Meeting our accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation);
- Keeping the website secure (legitimate interest).
Recipients
Your data is only shared with the driver in charge of your trip, our payment provider (SumUp), our web host and, where required by law, the competent authorities. It is never sold or used for advertising.
Retention period
Booking data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service, then for the period required by Belgian accounting law (7 years for accounting records).
Cookies
This website only uses technical cookies needed for it to work (session, booking, cart). We do not use advertising cookies or analytics requiring your consent. If this changes, a banner will ask for your consent.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to its processing, by writing to hassantissus@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels – www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
